Tim is a Principal Consultant with 14 years’ experience within the geospatial industry having worked for both public (UK MoD) and private (Schlumberger Oilfield Services) organisations. Tim joined Steer after completing a master’s degree in Transport Planning and Management from the University of Westminster.
Tim now sits within the Movement Place and Projects practice where he works to manage and support projects around the globe with their geospatial, analytical, and cartographic needs. Tim has worked on and managed on a wide range of projects at Steer, including (but not limited to) location planning for electric vehicle charging point locations, feasibility studies for bike share schemes, rail franchising, crowd modelling for major events, road traffic accident analysis, and development of evidence bases for regional transport strategies.
Tim enjoys the challenge of working in new geographies, across a wide range of transport modes, and experimenting with data to tell accurate and interesting stories from the most obscure datasets.
